Camilla Sacchetto

Camilla is an economist for the State Fragility initiative at the International Growth Centre (IGC), based at the Blavatnik School of Government in Oxford. The initiative aims to bring together robust evidence and practical insight to produce actionable, policy-focused guidance for national, regional, and international actors in the areas of state legitimacy, state effectiveness, private sector development, and conflict and security. Camilla's research interest and work focus on conflict issues, peacebuilding, state capacity, and private sector development.

Prior to her role at the IGC, she was an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow at the Ministry of Finance of Timor-Lest and at Djibouti’s Ministry of Decentralisation. Her work focused on public financial management, macroeconomic and fiscal analysis, regional development policy, and capacity building.

Camilla holds an MSc in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics, and a BSc in International Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
